A new wallet and staking guide for Korean users
We’re excited to share a new resource for Korean users: a step-by-step guide localized in Korean for setting up a Polymesh wallet, depositing POLYX, and staking.
This guide is designed to help Korean users get started on Polymesh with confidence. It explains the full process in the Korean language and includes references to exchanges most relevant in Korea.
POLYX Staking in Korea
POLYX is the native token of Polymesh and plays a key role in keeping the network secure and running. Through nominated proof-of-stake (NPoS), licensed node operators run the chain while POLYX holders can stake their tokens to support them.
Staking means locking your POLYX to help secure the network, while still keeping ownership over your tokens. It’s a way for Korean users to earn rewards, support participation, and strengthen Polymesh’s role as the leading blockchain for real world assets (RWA).
The new guide explains each step of staking in detail, from wallet setup to security best practices, fully localized in Korean.
What’s inside the guide?
The Korean-language guide provides both beginner and advanced instructions:
- Beginner’s Guide: How to set up a wallet, deposit POLYX, start staking, and find answers to common questions
- Advanced Guide: Concepts like decentralized identifiers (DIDs), signing keys, stash and controller addresses, and how slashing works for node operators
The guide also highlights important security practices, such as safely storing recovery phrases and keeping some POLYX available for transaction fees.
Supporting Korea’s growing blockchain ecosystem
South Korea is one of the most active blockchain markets, with a strong base of crypto users and leading exchanges like Upbit and Bithumb. By releasing this localized guide, Polymesh is making it easier for Korean users to participate in POLYX staking and join the global RWA movement.
This guide also reflects Polymesh Labs’ contribution to making digital assets accessible worldwide.
