While hackathons are ideal for rapid prototyping, real business impact requires understanding user needs, market dynamics, and practical implementation challenges that go beyond what can be coded in a weekend. 

This is why we’re thrilled to team up with BDACS and co-host the BDACS 1 Day Ideathon beside other leading players, including Avalanche, GK8, Woori Bank, and more. 

Taking place on October 26, 2025, at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Busan, South Korea, this event brings together the unique minds and backgrounds of 200 participants to encourage expansive thinking about blockchain implementation.

For Polymesh, this Ideathon is a natural next move in our growing commitment to the Korean market, following our sponsorship of Korea Blockchain Week 2025.

What is an Ideathon?

As an Ideathon, this event isn’t a coding competition; instead of building technical prototypes, the focus will be on persuasive business concepts and feasible ideas for institutional and retail use cases. 

Participants will work optionally in teams or individually to create proposals, concepts, or roadmaps utilizing multi-chain technology, with real-world utility. 

While all innovative ideas are welcome, the Ideathon will give additional consideration to proposals related to custody solutions, tokenization, stablecoins, and Bitcoin spot ETFs.

Throughout the event, participants will receive encouragement and guidance from the direction of BDACS and partners, including the Polymesh team. 

While participants will compete for prizes, the real value lies in the collaborative learning environment, where teams will build upon existing ideas, share insights, and develop concepts together.

Place: BEXCO, Exhibition Hall 1, Busan

Participants: Open to anyone aged 19+, from students to seasoned professionals.

How is Polymesh co-hosting?

As a co-hosting partner, Polymesh will be deeply involved throughout the event:

• Lead-up marketing and orientation: providing promotional and orientation material to build excitement, encourage participation, and expose Polymesh as a global blockchain with market connections to Korea. We’ve also developed a Korean language user guide to make our technology more accessible to local users.
